Melbourne Grown Timbers source trees that are required to be removed from the Melbourne landscape. These trees are then milled and air dried to produce high quality furniture timber. This timber is then crafted to produce custom pieces for the home, outdoors and commercial spaces.

At Melbourne Grown Timber we can provide a range of services that include milling and drying of timber through design, build and installation of unique pieces of furniture. We also do repairs to furniture including antiques.

Traditional joinery provides for a robust construction that will last for generations. We are so proud of our work that we believe that all hidden joinery should still look good if sought out. Take a look under one of our tables and be appreciative of our workmanship.
For varied reasons old trees are sometimes removed. We have milling machinery that allows us to mill on-site or at our facility. We air dry the milled timber and over time it is ready to be used. We have in stock an amount of rare and unusual timber that is available to craft that special piece of furniture.
Having cut our teeth in the family antique business there isn't too many pieces of furniture we haven't pulled apart and put back together. So if its worth fixing we can do it.
